Disclaimer
Tomas Medici is not responsible for the content of any linked external website.
We comply with the GDPR, and any data we hold is held on one of the following legal bases provided by the GDPR: consent, contract, legal obligation, vital interests, public task, or legitimate interest — and only such data (typically name, email, phone number and address, and payment details if we pay money to you) as is necessary for us to contact you. If you have any issues or would like to read our data protection policy, or object to us holding your data and would like us to delete it, please email tomas.medici@gmail.com
Privacy Policy
The controller responsible for data processing, as defined by data protection laws — in particular the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) — is:
Tomas Medici
Your rights as a data subject
Using the contact details above, you may exercise the following rights at any time:
-
Information about the data we hold about you and how it is processed
-
Correction of inaccurate personal data
-
Deletion of your data stored with us
-
Restriction of processing, where we are not yet permitted to delete your data due to legal obligations
-
Objection to the processing of your data by us
-
Data portability, provided you have consented to the data processing or entered into a contract with us
If you have given us consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. You may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority responsible for you at any time. Your competent supervisory authority depends on your state of residence, place of work, or the location of the alleged infringement. A list of supervisory authorities (for the non-public sector) with their addresses can be found at: https://www.bfdi.bund.de/EN/Home/home_node.html
Purposes of data processing by the controller and third parties
We process your personal data only for the purposes stated in this privacy policy. Your personal data is not transferred to third parties for any other purpose. We only pass on your personal data to third parties if:
-
You have given your explicit consent,
-
Processing is necessary to fulfil a contract with you,
-
Processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, or
-
Processing is necessary to safeguard legitimate interests, and there is no reason to assume you have an overriding, protection-worthy interest in your data not being disclosed.
Deletion or restriction of data
We follow the principles of data avoidance and data minimization. We therefore store your personal data only for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes stated here, or as required by the various statutory retention periods. Once the relevant purpose no longer applies, or these periods expire, the corresponding data is routinely blocked or deleted in accordance with legal requirements.
Use of script libraries (Google Web Fonts)
To display our content correctly and attractively across browsers, this website uses script and font libraries such as Google Web Fonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/). Google Web Fonts are transferred to your browser's cache to avoid loading them multiple times. If your browser does not support Google Web Fonts or blocks access to them, content is displayed in a standard font instead. Calling a script or font library automatically triggers a connection to the library's operator. It is theoretically possible — although currently unclear whether, or for what purposes — that operators of such libraries collect data. The privacy policy of the library operator, Google, can be found here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/
Embedded YouTube videos
We embed YouTube videos on some of our pages. The provider of the corresponding plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection is established to YouTube's servers, which tells YouTube which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can associate your browsing behaviour directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand. When a YouTube video is started, the provider sets cookies that collect information about user behaviour. Anyone who has disabled cookie storage for the Google Ad program will not have to expect such cookies when watching YouTube videos either. However, YouTube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you wish to prevent this, you must block cookie storage in your browser. Further information on data protection at "YouTube" can be found in the provider's privacy policy at: https://www.google.de/intl/en/policies/privacy/
Changes to our privacy policy
We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements, or to reflect changes to our services in the privacy policy, e.g. when introducing new services. The new privacy policy will then apply to your next visit.
